Introduction to Cheesemaking

This class is an introduction to the basics of cheesemaking, your first step to becoming a cheesemaker! At the end of the class you will have a great idea of what it takes to get started on your cheesemaking journey. I will also teach you how to make ricotta cheese!
Zoom info will be provided to participants as you sign up on this event by clicking on the "Contact" tab and sending a message indicating your interest. I will also reply with the information on how to get the class handout.
Class is limited to 50 and shouldn't run more than an hour, unless there are lots and lots of questions which is welcome!

6 classes over the course of 12 weeks to learn how to make 7 cheeses!
All classes online.
You will learn how to make Parmesan, Mozzarella, Gouda, Cheddar, Baby Swiss, Camembert & Stilton cheeses. Upon completion of this Academy you will have the knowledge to make just about any cheese you can find a recipe for!
CLASS FEE: $150 - includes instruction, handouts and ingredients as outlined below.
Highly recommended that you take the FREE Introduction to Cheesemaking class on February 6th prior to this Academy.
All classes will be held via Zoom, start time of 10:00AM PST and end approximately 11:30AM PST.

In addition to the instruction, classes include class handout and the cultures, mold powders, rennet, citric acid and calcium chloride you will need to make 2, 1 gallon batches of each cheese. Handout and ingredients will be mailed to you prior to classes starting.

To Sign Up for Classes: You can either use the ticket link associated with this event or you can VenMo me at Kimberly-Mack-22, make sure you include your email and which class you are paying for.
Take home kits that will make 2 one gallon batches will be available the day of class for $10 for all cheesemaking classes. Raw milk from Valley Milk Simply Bottled is available to take home at $5 a gallon. Milk will need to be pre-ordered no later than the Monday Prior to class by sending me a message.
